M.Phil Clinical Psychology
I completed my B.Sc. Psychology from PSG College of Arts & Science, Coimbatore, M.Sc. Applied Psychology (Clinical Specialization) from Pondicherry University and M.Phil. Clinical Psychology from Sweekaar Academy of Rehabilitation Sciences. Additionally, has done a course on the Education of Children with Learning Disabilities, Art-based therapies, Clinical Hypnotherapy, Solution Focused Approach, Grief & Bereavement, and a basic course on Sign Language, and Graphology.
Currently, I’m working as a part-time lecturer in a few colleges and consultant at various clinics and hospitals including a Pediatric neuro clinic, early intervention center and psychiatric & DE-addiction hospital. Worked as a psychologist at Helpline, Mpower, and Aditya Birla Educational Trust.
I was awarded “The Young Clinical Psychologist – 2020” in the field of mental health by the Tamilnadu Association of Clinical Psychologists and recipient of Elite World Records, Asian Records Academy, India Records Academy, and Tamilan Book Of Records achieved at one stretch for “The most number of Clinical Psychologists presenting a webinar on Mental Health to different spectators simultaneously”
Beside this academic endeavor, I’m also a Resource Person and Team member with Project CACA under the Social Axiom Foundation for conducting “Sensitization workshop on Psychological Aspects of Child Sexual Abuse and/or Bullying” for teachers throughout India.
I have delivered guest lectures, conducted mental health awareness programmes for schools & colleges at various districts in Tamilnadu and been as a resource person at state level programs. I’m also an active volunteer at a few schools in Coimbatore.
My field of expertise are Psychological assessments, Therapeutic Interventions, Clinical and Educational settings, Counseling & Guidance, and Research.
