Areas of Interest includes –
Women mental health including premenstrual syndrome, perinatal mental health issues like postpartum depression and postpartum psychosis, perimenopausal disorders, Anxiety disorders, Psycho oncology, Healthcare issues of minorities, adult and Consultation liaison Psychiatry.
Trained in psychotherapy – Cognitive behaviors’ therapy(CBT), Exposure Response Prevention (ERP), Dialectical Behaviors therapy (DBT).
Also trained in novel non invasive brain stimulation methods like rTMS – repetitive trans-cranial magnetic stimulation and Tdcs – trans-cranial direct current stimulation.
Actively involved in teaching MBBS and psychology students and a faculty for Neet pg entrance examination in various platforms.
Empathetic and caring physician with a holistic approach with clear vision of giving quality mental health care at the right time. Currently settled in Kochi, kerala and working as a consultant psychiatrist in Apollo Adlux Hospitals, Kochi.
Closely working with various nationwide NGOs to create awareness and with the prime aim of breaking the stigma. Invited speaker in various platforms especially targeting suicide prevention, creating mental health awareness, early identification of neuron developmental disorders.
